Feels odd to link a book critical of social media ON social media.
One view from my “usual” walk is this canopy of oak trees. But I haven’t gone for a walk in a few days because I am lazy and I am tired of the same-old route. The lack of visual interest and variety fails to flood my tiny monkey brain with dopamine, so I don’t bother to go out. The heat doesn’t help either. How do I stop having internet-brain? How do I stop the compulsive need for constant stimulation?
Is there a name for the frames at the beginning or end of a film roll that are exposed to light and come out all weird and abstract? If not, there ought to be.
Whatever they’re called, they often end up being some of my favorites.
